Nerdy Chic with Emma McKenzie

Last night I found myself hopping all over the grid looking for sales.  I didn't expect to meet so many interesting girls.  It turned out to be a great night of fun and laughter.

The thing I love the most about meeting and getting to know people is seeing how people express themselves in the clothing they choose and the way they put their outfits together.  I found myself talking to a group of fabulous women last night.  We each had very different styles, but we all shared a love of shopping.  

I thought I would show off a few of them.  I told them each to put together an outfit that reflected their style.  Emma McKenzie is my first fabulous victim.  She embraced the idea and had her outfit the very next day.  The thing I loved most about her outfit were the glasses.  I had never seen anything like them before, and as she sent over her style card, I found so many new spots that I had never been.   Truly, this is going to open my eyes to so many new places and designers.

Emma is adorable.  One of the sweetest gals I've met in a while.  We just seemed to "click" right off the bat.  Her style is adorable.  She loves flats, and has a way of throwing things together and just looking so unique.

Spotlight: MALT Fashions

Saturday I was able to attend a fashion show at MALT Fashions.  It was a "new to me" store since I had never heard of it, but I was amazed when I saw the models walk down the runway.

It's a huge store with such a wide variety of clothes and accessories.  Adorable baby doll dresses, shorts and tanks, sweaters and dressy capri pants.  I fell in love!

I chose some of my favorites to show you all here.  One of my favorite pieces in the whole store is the Knit Cardi, shown here in red.  It's a very versatile piece, which can be dressed up, or worn down.  It can be worn sexy, or more modest by pairing a tank underneath.  I paired it with the Grey Capris which are wonderful!  They are available in a variety of colors, and look fabulous with a pair of boots.  A perfect look for fall.

The next is the Tyrilah babydoll dress in white.  The perfect thing about this dress is it's offered as a long skirt or a short skirt, which is perfect for wearing as a babydoll top.  I love the sexy v-neck, and the wonderful detailing which you can really see on the Gold version.

MALT Fashions also has a room of accessories, and I'm wearing the Grey bracelets.  Who doesn't love chunky bangles?

MALT is definitely a store to watch, if you haven't been out to visit, take a trip to the mainstore on the Plush Terra sim.

WigWamBam Latest Releases

Joodle Fadoodle sent me over some adorable items to review.  Her store is WigWamBam, and she has quite a few cheerful, colorful items in her inventory.  I love the bright colors in the Vague Japoneise dress.  Blue Autumn is a sexy outfit ready to take us straight into fall.  The vivid blue sweater, black shorts and fishnet stockings.  Sweater dresses are my absolute favorite, and this is no exception.  This is the Sweater Dress in Rouge, complete with red tights.

WigWamBam is located on the Bricolage sim.

Pulse Skins

A few weeks ago,Lorac Farella and Eidolon Aeon sent me over a couple of their skins to review.  I kept meaning to get the review written, but time just kept getting away from me.  I'm wearing the Blissed in Incense which is a creamy skin tone, and the Kissed in Bitten.  I'm usually drawn to sunkissed tones, and Kissed is no exception.  The makeup on this one is gorgeous.  I just love the blue and green eyeshadow. 

There are so many options to this skin.  Each tone has 15 different makeups, and each makeup has a freckled version, lotioned and unlotioned versions, 3 eyebrow colors, and 3 genital options.  They have also promised that new tones will be added weekly, so be sure to check them out!

Pink Outfitters September Releases

Pink Outfitters has had a busy month already.  London Dailey sent over her releases for the month of September, so I thought I'd share with you.  London's clothes are all 100% hand painted, and as usual, they are all cute.

London has released her first fully hand painted jeans.  They are available in 7 shades, and I'm wearing them in black and vintage blue.  All jeans come with both skinny and flared prim bottoms, and are sold for $145 L each.

Next is the Di Tube Top.  This shiny/metallic top comes in 8 shades and are available on all layers.  They are sold for $100 L each, and if you join the Pink Outfitters group, she's so generously given an exclusive color, Pumpkin to her group members.

Lastly is the adorable Cropped hoodie.  This is a soft cotton hoodie with ribbed cuffs and hem, and a front pouch pocket, a sculpted hoodie and drawstrings.  It's available in 8 colors and I'm wearing Kiwi and golden peach.  The Cropped Hoodie is sold for $150 L each.

Kunglers Latest Releases

The Kungler sisters, AvaGardner and Barbra, never fail to come through with a new release every Sunday.  They absolutely blow me away each week with their gorgeous styles.  I've compiled a review of the last 3 weeks worth of new releases.  Each week they just seem to get better and better.

First is Alee.  Alee comes in 3 colors:  Aqua, Magnolia, and Soleil (pictured).  I absolutely love the array of colors that the sisters provide.  Alee is a gorgeous wrap top with skinny jeans.  I love the way the jeans fit, and the prim cuffs which are absolutely perfect in keeping the leg straight.  This is absolutely one of my favorite outfits because it's sexy, but classy.

Next is Emilie.  I'm a huge fan of pink, so when I tried this on, it made me smile.  Most of the outfits that the Kungler sisters sell come complete with jewelry and often nail polish as well.  Definitely worth the money!  This outfit comes complete with adorable hoop earrings and bright pink nails.  Adorable!

Eve is a pair of straight leg leather pants with an adorable white tank.  I love this tank, the cut and shape are perfect, but paired with the leather pants, it just makes the look complete.  Brown bead necklace is the perfect finishing touch.

Juliah is a very versatile dress.  Again, my favorite, pink.  The top can be worn without the optional pink undershirt for a sexy look.  But paired with the pink undershirt, it is perfect for everyday.  Juliah comes with pink and black bracelets and cute little pink pearl earrings.

Sabrynah is a casual capri and tube top outfit.  It's available in 3 colors:  Blue & Black, Brown & Yellow (pictured), and White & Pink.  Matching nail colors also come with them.  A casual, chic look.

Last is Sophie.  Sophie is one of my favorite dresses that I've come across in a while.  I not only love the sexy low cut neckline, but the long flowing skirt as well.  It would be perfect with a pair of sandals for a casual look, but it can be dressed up for a night out.

Elate Latest Release

A few weeks ago, Kellie Iwish sent over her latest release, Kat, for me to try.  Not only did I fall in love with the poofy skirt, but the jacket that takes this dress straight into fall.  As usual, it comes in beautiful colors, and she even made an optional fat pack of additional jacket colors.  This jacket is perfect for a crisp. tailored fall look.

The dresses come in blush (pictured), ice, lime, plum and sky.  I love Kellie's colors and this dress is no exception.  It has a cute, girlie vibe, but the skirt is short enough to still bring that bit of sexiness.

I'm also wearing the gorgeous new skins from Slink set to debut today.
