Spotlight: *BOOM*

If you're looking for something a little on the sexy side, then *BOOM* is the store for you!

First off is appropriately called Office Tart in the color Pitch. I love the black and white striped button up shirt, which has a very low cut. Now, this wouldn't be appropriate in my office, but it might be fun to dress up! It also comes with a super mini skirt with slits up both sides. Definitely a skirt to show off your legs. I must admit, I really like it.

Next is the Leather Crop Halter in Black. I love the fringe detail on the front and the 2 cute bows in the black. The texturing is nice, and it comes with an adorable little feather arm band. I sort of felt all rocker-ish and really sexy.

If you've never visited *BOOM*, head over to the Cassiopeia Isle and check it out. You're sure to find something sexy for your friday night out!

Spotlight: *sheer* and ~flirt~ Jewelry

If you're anything like me, sometimes you just need a pair of stockings to complete your "look". I love patterned stockings, and I was thrilled to find a store who gave me just about every sort of pattern I could ever want. *sheer* has the most amazing stockings you will find in SL. I was thrilled to see that there is also a small collection of clothes. She takes the "little black dress" to a whole new level.

*sheer*'s many patterned stockings are offered as thigh high stockings or tights. The same amazing patterns, just different styles. The stockings also come in the "torn" look, which is definitely for the hardcore. I've shown a few of the stockings styles in different patterns. My personal favorite is the "dots". It adds that little bit of "fun" to a simple black dress.

The dresses I've chosen to show you are so unique. The first dress is the Shift Dress in black. This adorable dress has to be my favorite in the collection. It comes with tops and bottoms in every available layer, which is wonderful. The top is very sheer on it's own, which would be perfect under a jacket, but I paired them together for a more sophisticated look. The Shift Dress comes with 2 options on the top. I absolutely adore the off the shoulder look in the first picture. It's so sexy! But it also comes with a traditional top for the classic look. I love the options that come in with each of these dresses. You're honestly getting 2 dresses for the price of 1. The Shift Dress is sold for $250 L.

The next dress is the Shiver Dress in black. This dress is a sweet little dress with a slightly flared skirt. Again, so many pieces on every available layer. The sheer top is optional, and also comes is a "torn" version. You can wear the dress with or without the sheer layer and it's just as cute. It could also be worn under a jacket. The Shiver Dress is also $250 L.

The last dress is the Shy Dress in silver. The texturing on this dress is really good. The silver has a sheen to it that I love. It also comes with 2 versions of the top, one with a slightly more sheer midsection. It also has the same slightly flared skirt. It's sold for $250 L.

I've shown the many versions of stockings that they carry, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. You have to take a trip to *sheer* to take a look at all of the selection. There is something for every mood there, and the perfect accent to any outfit.

Visit *sheer* on the Uruti Point sim.

The jewelry I'm wearing is a from ~flirt~ jewelry, Hearts & Diamonds.  This set has a resizer script, which I love!  It makes things so easy to fit, and if you're horrible at editing like me, it saves from lots of headaches.  It's also completely texture change, and there are so many different textures and metals to choose from.  If you haven't been by to visit ~flirt~, I definitely recommend a visit, Skinkie Winkler's designs are gorgeous!  Visit ~flirt~ at their mainstore on the Juicy sim.

His winter set consists of a mix of jeans, sweaters, and button up shirts.  Everything has a very casual feel, and colors that are very in for fall.

Spotlight: Biddle Boots

A store new to the grid is Biddle Boots.  Valentine Biddle has a small, but growing inventory of adorable boots.

I wandered into her store last night, and she so graciously sent over some samples of her boots for me to try.  I have to say for a new store, her work is exceptional, and I absolutely love the bright, vivid colors she uses.

The first picture shows the Sculptie Boots in Electric Blue.  I was afraid this blue would be too bright for my taste, but it's perfect.  These boots have a resizer script, which I love, so the fit was simple.  There is also a retexture script so you can change the colors of the heel, sole, and chain.  I absolutely love when designers give this extra feature, the options are limitless.  You're getting far more than 1 pair of boots.  These boots are sold for $800 L and are available in black, red, electric pink, electric violet, and electric blue (pictured).

The next picture shows the Sculptie Ankle Boots.  This is the ankle version of the Sculptie Boots and come in the same colors.  It also has the resizer and retexture script included.  They are sold for $600 L each and are pictured here in electric pink.

Last are the Ankle Cuties.  These ankle boots feature an adorable little bow on the ankle.  These are so sweet!  They look perfect with skirts (I've worn mine all day!!).  Perfect touch for the season.  They are available in black, chocolate, smokey, red, and olive (pictured).  They are sold for $400 L.

If you're in search of some good quality boots this season, head over to Biddle Boots and check them out!

Spotlight: Fishy Strawberry

Fishy Strawberry is a store I stumbled across a few weeks back.  It's full of lots of loud, bright colors, and I just fell in love with it.  There is a growing selection, and the designs are very unique.  There is even a lucky chair in the store, and if you're like me, you just love shopping when suddenly your letter comes up.  Like a little present!

The first dress is the Buttoned Dress in black.  It's available in a few bright colors, but I chose the black and white.  There is even a little bra included to wear underneath the dress.  It's absolutely adorable and hugs your curves perfectly.

I believe my favorite purchase of all were these jeans in the color smog.  You get the jeans and the capris with 2 different cuffs.  I love the fit of these jeans.  They are loose, but not baggy, and the sculptie cuffs are adorable!  This is a great buy, 2 for the price of one.  I love it!

Next is the V-neck tee, Lolita.  I immediately was drawn to the bright colors on the top.  Again, the shirt is loose without being too baggy, but it creates a perfect silhouette.

Last is the Minihood in red.  Cropped hoodies and sweaters are really in for fall, and when I saw this in all the colors it was a really hard choice.  This hoodie looks perfect with a tee and a pair of jeans, or even with a jean skirt.  Perfect for those cool fall evenings.

If you haven't been to Fishy Strawberry, definitely stop in and check it out.  Fishy Strawberry is located on Star Beach Island.

Spotlight: MALT Fashions

Saturday I was able to attend a fashion show at MALT Fashions.  It was a "new to me" store since I had never heard of it, but I was amazed when I saw the models walk down the runway.

It's a huge store with such a wide variety of clothes and accessories.  Adorable baby doll dresses, shorts and tanks, sweaters and dressy capri pants.  I fell in love!

I chose some of my favorites to show you all here.  One of my favorite pieces in the whole store is the Knit Cardi, shown here in red.  It's a very versatile piece, which can be dressed up, or worn down.  It can be worn sexy, or more modest by pairing a tank underneath.  I paired it with the Grey Capris which are wonderful!  They are available in a variety of colors, and look fabulous with a pair of boots.  A perfect look for fall.

The next is the Tyrilah babydoll dress in white.  The perfect thing about this dress is it's offered as a long skirt or a short skirt, which is perfect for wearing as a babydoll top.  I love the sexy v-neck, and the wonderful detailing which you can really see on the Gold version.

MALT Fashions also has a room of accessories, and I'm wearing the Grey bracelets.  Who doesn't love chunky bangles?

MALT is definitely a store to watch, if you haven't been out to visit, take a trip to the mainstore on the Plush Terra sim.

Spotlight: SLink

Some of my favorite skins come from SLink and when I saw that they had a new release and a brand new mainstore, I couldn't wait to head right over and check it out. I absolutely love their new mainstore. It' a lovely beach setting that's so peaceful and comfortable feeling. I love stores that are interesting and make me want to spend hours there.

I absolutely love Siddean Munro's latest release. The button down shirt, with amazing details is absolutely perfect for summer, and will take you right into fall. The shirts come with a prim collar and cuffs. The cuffs even have adorable little buttons on them. Absolutely perfect. It's available on every layer, and even come with a tucked in sculpty. What a neat idea! The shirts are available in black, gold, teal, white, grey and red, for $200 L each, or the fat pack of all colors for $600 L. This is such an amazing deal, I couldn't pass up the fat pack!

The pants I'm also wearing here are another new release. When I saw these in the store I knew I needed them. The colors are so rich and even have an adorable buckle on the pants. They come in the pant and underwear layers (which makes me so so happy!) and have perfect prim bottoms. The luscious rich color are black, green, red, brown, white and teal, and are sold for $230 L. These are also offered in a fat pack of all colors for $690 L.

The next item I chose was the Ruched Blouse and Pencil Skirt Set in Turquoise. I'm a sucker for a pencil skirt, especially with an adorable high waist and thin belt. Chocolate is a hot neutral right now and can be paired with so many colors. This set comes in bone, lavender, lilac, lime, red, stormclouds, and of course turquoise. The sets are sold for $250 L each or the fat pack for $875 L. If you're anything like me, you'll have trouble choosing which color is your favorite.

While you're there, check out their skins, shoes, and growing line of accessories. I know that once you visit, SLink will be a store that you're sure to visit often.

Spotlight - Decoy

A couple of weeks ago I attending a fashion show showcasing Tuli Skins, Decoy, and Dernier Cri hair. I've always been a fan of Decoy, their jeans being some of my favorites, so I knew that I'd absolutely love the newest designs for summer. I was blown away by all the bright colors. They're so rich and vibrant it just makes me think of laying by the pool.

Yesterday I had a chance to make it over the store. The clothes are so bright and sunny they just make me smile. I put them on for my photoshoot and haven't taken them off since. I don't expect to take them off anytime soon, either.

The thing I love about the newest releases is that they can all be mixed and matched to create so many different looks. The jean capris (which happen to be some of my favorites in SL), the flowy tops, cute little belted cropped jackets and swimsuits, just seem to work together perfectly.

I love the Sanrio bikini ($135 L), shown here in Storm. I love the fact that it looks like you've just wrapped a scarf around yourself. The textures are so rich, I can almost feel them. I love that there's also a tank included, so not only can you wear it as a bikini, but as a tankini for a little more coverage. The tank goes perfectly with the City Breeze shorts ($100 L). Slip the shorts on over the bikini and you have the perfect outfit.

I also picked up the Manzano halter in Ruby ($115 L). I fell in love with this color in the store. I'm always trying to get a wider array of colors, and this was a color that I didn't have much of in my inventory. There are so many colors to choose from, you're sure to find your favorites. The thing I love the most about this halter is that the prim ruffles fit pefectly. No adjusting needed, and it just looked so natural.

There are so many more gorgeous things at Decoy, stop everything and head there to check it out yourself!

Spotlight: Pink Outfitters

I stumbled across Pink Outfitters yesterday, and the second I walked into the store, I was in love. London Dailey has a small, but incredibly cute collection of dresses, t-shirts, pants and shorts. I wanted to buy at least one of everything in the store, but I resisted. I tp'ed home and tried my new purchases on immediately and I was blown away. Her seams are flawless. I mean, flawless! Her textures are rich. I'm very much impressed!

The first item I spotted were the Producer pants. They are available in so many different colors, but I immediately saw the berry shade and knew I had to have them. I'm a sucker for pink. These pants come with prim cuffs and are sold for $145 L, which is a great price for the quality of work. I paired it here with the Fly, Fly graphic tee. London has a whole line of tees, which are sold for $95 L.

My next outfit started with the French Scoop Neck in black. As we all know, stripes are really hard to pull off in SL, but she really did an exceptional job. The seams are perfect. It comes in lots of different colors and are sold for $100 L. I paired the sweater with the Trouser shorts in Red Wine. Like I said in my last post, I'm on a big trouser short kick and seem to be gathering a small collection of them in just about every color. These trousers are sold in a solid and a print, which means 2 shorts for $160 L.

I highly suggest making a trip to Pink Outfitters and checking out her collection. I know that I can't wait to see what future releases London has up her sleeves!

Spotlight: Frozen Turquoise Valentine

I had heard about FTV a few months ago, but had never made it out to the store to check them out. A few weeks ago I was wandering around the Velvet sim at their grand opening and was pleasantly surprised to FTV had a store on this sim. I made my way in and was kicking myself for not having visited it before.

I was immediately drawn to the Punk Glam outfit. It's a little punkier then I usually dress, but I love to try different looks. One of the things I love about Second Life is that it allows you to be anyone you feel like being that day. One of the things I love about this dress are the awesome tights that are included. They are so edgy and fun! I paired them with a pair of boots, and it was just perfect for my edgy look for the day. The dress is a basic black babydoll with silver accents. At $250 L, it is a great addition to any wardrobe.

The next outfit I picked up was the London outfit. This outfit is more of my traditional everyday look. I love the shorts, especially for summer. The cute little accent buttons on the shorts are just adorable too. The top is in an amazing plaid with a neutral color combination. I love the neck and the sexy cut out. It gives it that little sexy look without taking it too far. This outfit is sold for $300 L, and I know I'll be wearing each of these pieces in so many different ways, it is a great deal.

If you haven't been to Frozen Turquoise Valentine, I definitely recommend you stop by and check it out. I know you'll love it as much as I do.

Spotlight: Skin Flicks

A few weeks ago, I saw the most beautiful pair of black linen pants on the fashion blog. I immediately made my way to Skin Flicks in search of them. They fit perfectly, were a great price, and I didn't take them off for days. Skin Flicks has quickly become one of my favorite stores. The clothes are definitely my style, so when I heard that this store would be featured in a fashion show by JM Models, I knew I had to go. It was an amazing show. There were so many amazing designs that I had to make a special trip to the store this week to make a few more purchases.

The first look is the Paige Lace and Linen in Brown. These capri pants in brown are adorable and can be worn so many different ways. I love to buy outfits that I can take the pieces and create many different outfits. The pants, adorable lace top and brown belt are absolutely perfect key pieces for any wardrobe. This outfit comes in brown (as shown), black, blue, pink, and gold, and is $300 L.

The next dress that I chose is the Flirtable Cocktail Dress in blue, and this dress is flirty! I absolutely adore it! The texture on the top of the dress is amazing. The colors are so rich, and the prim skirt pieces fit perfectly. The little bow on the belt is perfect, not too much, just enough. It comes in so many different colors, it was hard to choose which one I wanted! The available colors are blue (as shown), black, gold, teal, red, purple, and maroon, and is $300 L.

I look forward to seeing more from Mavis McGettigan.
